Changing the path in Snow Leopard
Apr
17

The cleanest way to add something to the $PATH variable for all users on Snow Leopard is adding it to the /etc/paths file: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 $ cat /etc/paths /usr/local/bin /usr/local/sbin /usr/local/mysql/bin /usr/bin /bin /usr/sbin /sbin

The order in this file will be preserved as is in the \$PATH.
